NORTH CAROLINA – 101usa.com ranked the 20 best public high schools in North Carolina.
The rankings were based on graduation rates compared to the national average and math and reading/language arts assessment test scores.
East Chapel Hill got the top slot. The high school has a 95 percent graduation rate. It also boasts 59 percent of students score at or above average on state math assessments and 83 percent of students score at or above proficiency on state reading and language arts testing.
