DURHAM, N.C. -- Men from across the country met at Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium to participate in the K Academy.

The college basketball fantasy camp gave participants the chance to be a temporary Blue Devil player.

For $10,000, players got to learn from former Duke players and Coach Mike Krzyzewski.

"The training staff here is great. I'm 52 years old probably one of the older guys here so we spend a lot of time in the cold tubs after our games telling stories and talking about the game, and then every night we're together as a team and everyone gets to know everybody. That's really where it's all built," said Steve Serck, a K Academy player.

A portion of the fees collected is given to a non profit organization, The Emily K Center.

Players at K Academy say it's a once in a lifetime experience to form a bond with fellow Duke fans and help the community.

The event wrapped up on Sunday.
