RALEIGH, N.C.-- The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and as spring is upon us, that means it’s soccer time! We sit down with Carolina Railhwaks President and General Manager for a look at the upcoming season.
Curt Johnson says the team has a lot of new faces in strong players and a local owner in Steve Malik. Big off-season signings including RailHawks veterans Tiyi Shipalane, Naz Albadawi and Austin da Luz and 2015 NASL Best Eleven James Marcelin.
There will also be a lot of new features at the games this year, including a new South Stand Supporters Section, which will showcase Triangle Soccer Fanatics and Oak City Supporters groups. You can also enjoy craft beer at the New "Far Post Beer Garden", a gathering area for fans to socialize, featuring lounge couches, a foosball table, an EA Sports FIFA 2016 station, and other fun games.
A Fan Bus will also stop in downtown Raleigh and Cary this season, to provide a free, safe, and efficient way to get to the game and back. This does includes free Lonerider beer.
