SCOTTSVILLE, N.Y. — Wheatland-Chili Central School District will move to a four-day in-person teaching model at the middle and high school starting February 1.
Beginning that day, the district says students will need to commit to either the four-day or a fully remote option as the two-day hybrid model will no longer be offered.
Under the four-day model, students will attend Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Remote learning will continue on Wednesdays.
Bell-to-bell bans are leading school districts to develop their own storage plans and promote a distraction-free environment.
The program offers in-class, hands-on experience for juniors and seniors to learn CPR, first aid, firefighter hose handling and ladder operations.
Those districts are Hilton, Spencerport and Churchville-Chili.
There were also races for local boards of education. Bus propositions and capital improvement projects were also considered.
