NATIONWIDE -- Two retail giants say they will stop selling a controversial Halloween costume.
Walmart and Amazon are vowing to remove a "Tranny Granny" outfit from their websites.
It includes a dress, headscarf and padding for the breasts and rear-end.
The costume sparked some outrage online with many saying it's offensive to the transgender community.
On Walmart and Amazon the costume was reportedly listed by a third-party vendor named Rasta Imposta.
According to the news site "LGBT Nation," Walmart says the costume violates its terms of service for third-party retailers.
It's still available from several other online retailers.
At last check, Rasta Imposta was marketing the product as a "Manny Granny" on its website.
