ZEBULON, N.C. -- The three-game series between the Carolina Mudcats and Myrtle Beach Pelicans that was scheduled to run Tuesday-Thursday will not be played, Carolina League President John Hopkins said Wendesday.
The Mudcats team bus overturned Tuesday in Columbus County prompting the cancelation of the games at Myrtle Beach’s TicketReturn.com Field.
The team is back in Zebulon for medical evaluation, Hopkins said, and decisions regarding rescheduling will be made at a later time.
The Mudcats are a Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
