Churchill Downs has officially rebranded Wednesday of Kentucky Derby Week to be known as “Winsday: Great Thrills for the Greater Good presented by Resolute Racing.” In partnership with the Community Foundation of Louisville, “Winsday” will be a special day dedicated to supporting local nonprofit organizations and spotlighting their invaluable contributions to the Kentuckiana community.

“Winsday is a new Kentucky Derby Week event that will make a direct impact on the lives of many across Louisville and the Kentuckiana region,” said Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships Casey C. Ramage. “Churchill Downs is thrilled to partner with Resolute Racing and the Community Foundation of Louisville for this incredible celebration of the pivotal role nonprofits play in our community.”

Fifty nonprofit groups have sent special ticket links to their supporters and Churchill Downs will donate $5 to the organization for every “Winsday” box seat ticket sold.

Box seats on the 100 level are $32 and the 300 level box seats are $39. The boxes are communal seating with other guests unless the entire box is bought.

According to a release from Churchill Downs, “Winsday" will also help the nonprofits with other opportunities to raise money, including special cash prizes and increased awareness for the organizations on race day.
