ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Texas Christian University football is headed to the Land of Enchantment.

TCU will square off with Louisiana in the 19th annual Isleta New New Mexico Bowl.

This is the first trip to the New Mexico Bowl for both teams and their first matchup. This marks the 36th bowl appearance in TCU’s history.

The Horned Frogs are going into the bowl game 8-4, including five wins in their final six games. The Ragin’ Cajuns went 10-3 this season but lost the Sun Belt Conference championship game to Marshall on Dec. 7.

The game takes place Dec. 28 at 1:15 p.m., and will be broadcast on ESPN.
