TEXAS — H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall on a few different flavors of 12-count packages of 3-ounce cups of ice cream for potentially containing metal.

The grocery retailer said the brand Creamy Creations in chocolate, lime/orange sherbert and vanilla/chocolate combo flavors are the affected flavors, according to the recall notice.

There have been no injuries so far and the ice cream has been taken off the shelves, but H-E-B urges customers to check the UPC and code dates and throw out the ice cream or return to the store for a full refund.

The UPC and code dates can be found on the back of product’s outer bag, not the individual cups, according to the notice.
