STATEN ISLAND – At least twelve people were hospitalized with minor injuries after a Staten Island bus crashed Monday morning, fire department officials said. Citizen app video showed the aftermath of the bus’ collision with a dump truck on Richmond Terrace and Hamilton Ave. in St. George.

The bus was on the S40 line, MTA sources confirmed. 

The injured riders were transported to Staten Island University Hospital’s north campus and Richmond University Medical Center, FDNY said.
