The 13-year-old suspect in the death of Barnard College student Tessa Majors will remain behind bars following yesterday's hearing.
City Law says another hearing is set for next month after the Legal Aid Society, representing the teen, requested to suppress certain evidence in the case.
That is set for February 4th.
The teen was arrested one day after 18-year-old Majors was found stabbed to death in Morningside Park on December 11th.
The boy is charged with second degree murder, as well as robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
A 14-year-old was also questioned and released last month after police collected forensic evidence.
