GREENSBORO, N.C.-    The long awaited Trader Joe's opened in Greensboro Thursday.

It was the company's 10th location in the state of North Carolina.

One Trader Joe's super fan waited outside in line for hours before it opened.

"The alarm went off at 6 although we drove by here a couple of times yesterday to make sure that they were still on schedule and everything and I really toyed with bringing my little two person tent and setting it up so I could be first in line. They told me that other people have done that in the past, but I opted not to," Linda Erday said.

The Greensboro location's Captain said he has a few favorite products:

  • Cookie Butter
  • Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
  • Mandarin Orange Chicken

The store opened in the Brassfield Shopping Center off New Garden Road and Battleground Avenue. The company said it will be open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
