STOKES COUNTY, N.C. -- Crews in the Triad rescued a hiker who reportedly fell this weekend, due to a problem with her equipment.
Stokes County officials say a fall was reported at Hanging Rock park.
EMS says a 911 call came in around 2pm on Sunday. The hiker reportedly fell about 20 feet from the Cook's Wall trail.
The Winston-Salem Fire Department tweeted that they hiked in two miles for a "low angle rope rescue" and have gotten the hiker out.
Rescuers took the patient to the hospital, where she is expected to be ok.
