GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Weather on the one's forecast center has a forecast everyone should love for Valentine's Day! 

Look for plenty of sunshine with about a 30-degree temperature warm up from early morning to mid-afternoon. 

Highs should reach the low to mid 60s by 3pm or 4pm.

Mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 60s Thursday.

We will see increasing clouds at the end of the day that will make for a mostly cloudy evening.  However, you are safe to leave the umbrella at home if you are taking your Valentine out to dinner. No rain is expected as temperatures drop into the 50s after sunset.

Temperatures will eventually drop to the mid 40s late Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Most of the day Friday should be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will warm to the mid 60s in the afternoon.

Rain will then spread into the state from the west late Friday night into Saturday morning. That will just be the start of a wet weather pattern featuring off and on rain into much of next week.

The latest forecast data suggests the North Carolina Piedmont should see at least two to four inches of rain from early Saturday through next Thursday. Parts of western North Carolina could see up to five inches.
