THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Firefighters in Davidson County are at the scene of a fatal house fire. 

Firefighters were called out to a home on Lakeview Drive around 7:15 a.m. Monday morning.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.

Officials say one person has died as a result of the blaze.
