HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point Police are investigating a double homicide involving two teens that took place Christmas night on Braddock Road.

Police say they were dispatched just after midnight Wednesday morning to 4101 Braddock Rd. One caller inside the home didn't think the shots were real.

"I thought they were playing a joke on me and had firecrackers outside," the person said.

Upon arrival they located two male victims: one deceased on arrival and another died at Moses Cone a short time later. Another caller said they saw someone by the pool screaming.

"I think someone was shot possibly outside by the pool," the caller said. "My bedroom overlooks the pool, and I saw what looked like two people out there next to a body screaming."

The victims have been identified as Carter Wilson, 19, and Ethan Mitchell, 18.

Officers said there were several other individuals at the residence at the time of the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
