RANDLEMAN, N.C. – A Randolph County woman is turning heads for an interesting reason… her obituary!

Martha Ware Hill passed away the day before her 65th birthday. Or, as the obituary put it, she decided to “get on up outta here!”

Her obituary, posted on the Greensboro News & Record, described her as loving teaching, gardening, and cigarettes.

It hilariously noted that she was preceded in death by “a bunch of people.”

And it asked that, rather than mourn Martha, people "enjoy a happy thought, a drink, or a smoke."

While it is unknown what Miss Hill passed away from, her final testimony certainly did her justice!
