GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The NCDOT has determined that a bridge on I-73 is structurally sound following a tanker fire last week.
Diagnostics this week determined the steel beems that support the bridge were not compromised by the crash.
The left lane of the bridge will be closed and blocked off until the deck, barrier wall, and bearings damaged by the truck can be repaired.
