Change is in the air now that we're behind this afternoon's cold front. High temperatures were mild today in the 60s this afternoon, but now much cooler air is rushing into the state. Underneath clear skies, temperatures will cool efficiently this evening. Eventually, temperatures will rest in the upper 20s to low 30s.

High pressure will move in from the west Tuesday and remain in place through much of the week. This will ensure dry, sunny weather through Thursday. Just don't expect all that sunshine to relate to warm temperatures. A cold air-mass will keep temperatures well below normal. Highs will peak in the upper 40s to low 50s Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday will be even cool with highs in the 40s for many.

Temperatures will begin to rebound Thursday as our next storm system approaches. We'll likely see this system arrive late Friday/early Saturday. As of right now Saturday and Sunday will likely feature cloudy skies and scattered showers.
