After a full day of rain, the Haw River in Alamance County is overflowing.

That caused Saxapahaw Island Park to completely flood.

Alamance County Emergency Management says the area flooded to more than 25 feet.

Alamance County says the crest on Tuesday is about a foot lower than the height the river reached at its highest point during Hurricane Michael.

The county says the river has now receded nearly two feet to about 23 feet, where it sits right now.
