WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Winston-Salem police have released the body cam footage in an altercation at Hanes Magnet Middle School involving a student and a member of the School Resource Officer unit.

An investigation found that Officer T.B. McCormick did not violate any policy in an incident with 14-year-old Rockeal Baldwin. 

Community leaders, including those from the NAACP, say that they agree that the officer was in compliance and support his reinstatement.

The footage first surfaced back in October when the video was posted on Facebook.

The investigation is now closed.
