GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Some changes are coming to the Triad-based VF Corporation.

• The parent company is leaving the Gate City and plans to split into two companies
• Plans to be moving its active and outerwear division to Denver, Colorado
• That includes the North Face, Jansport and Eagle Creek Brands

The parent company is leaving the Gate City and plans to split into two companies.

That includes the North Face, Jansport and Eagle Creek Brands.

VF plans to spin off its Wrangler Jeans division and also move its Lee Brands division to Greensboro from Kansas City.

Greensboro has been VF's headquarters for decades. The move still needs final approval from the board of directors. It is expected to be completed next year.
