GLENWOOD, N.Y. — The Bonefrog is the unofficial mascot of the Navy SEALs, and the official namesake of the world's only Navy SEAL obstacle course.
"A lot of the obstacles are designed specifically based off of what we went through during SEAL training," said Josh Rich, Bonefrog Buffalo race director.
Bonefrog returns to Buffalo this Saturday at Kissing Bridge and features five different courses of varying difficulties for people of all ages.
Rich, a former Navy SEAL, was tasked with converting the ski slopes into courses designed to push racers to their physical limits.
"Coming out here, pushing yourself, not just facing the physical obstacles, but mental obstacles as well," said Rich.
Races begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. For more information, visit their website.
