She was last seen near the Stoneybrook Apartments on Webster Road in Jan. 2016.
Her family and friends are interviewed in the Disappeared episode, detailing the suspicious circumstances around her vanishing.
Williams had recently graduated from Greensboro's Dudley High School and the day before she disappeared, had enrolled to begin classes at Guilford Technical Community College.
Greensboro police said back in 2016 that her disappearance was suspicious and considered foul play may be involved, a status they've maintained for over two years.
No substantial clues or leads have been discovered in the case.
The Disappeared episode also chronicles her grandfather's search across the country, leading on tips that Williams may have been kidnapped or involved in a human trafficking ring. According to the episode, all of the tips and leads have proven to not be Tyarra.
Disappeared references a ex-boyfriend who may know more information, but he is not named since the investigation is still ongoing.
Anyone with information about Williams' disappearance asked to call Greensboro Crime Stoppers or text the tip to 274637 using the keyword: “badboyz.”
