ASHEBORO, N.C. -- Asheboro High School will begin a transformation this summer into a facility district leaders say will better meet the needs of a growing student body.
At the State of the Schools event Tuesday night, administrators unveiled the renderings for the renovation and expansion project.
The project will add 15 classrooms, an expanded band area, a multi-use commons space, multiple landscaped courtyards and update the nearly 70-year-old existing building.
Officials hope to complete the project within three to five years.
