GREENSBORO -- The white flags outside of Greensboro's Interactive Resource Center have been flying for almost three weeks now.
The white flag is a signal to the city's homeless that emergency warming shelters are open overnight. Temperatures are expecting to come up this week and the center's employees are looking for a relief.
"We are very grateful for that but we do know that there's just a moment. So we'll be back open,” says Mia Dixon. “The doors will be back open again. Don't know what day but we'll be open and we'll need the same donations."
Dixon adds the center is always in need of hygiene products, laundry detergent, and volunteers
