GENESEO, N.Y. -- Students on the campus of SUNY Geneseo are mourning the loss of a classmate Friday.
In a letter to students, the college says 21-year-old Alexandra Ciarcia died due to a pre-existing medical condition.
She was found Thursday in the Phi Lambda Chi sorority house.
The college says supportive counseling has been set up at the student health center.
Alexandra was a graduate of Pleasantville High School in Westchester County.
She was also serving as managing editor of the Lamron, Geneseo's student newspaper.
