The South Carolina man questioned by federal authorities about the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel failed a lie-detector test when asked about the case.
The United States Attorney's Office in South Carolina says Timothy Da'Shaun Taylor failed the polygraph test within the past 30 days.
This comes as Taylor pleaded guilty to federal charges related to a 2011 robbery. He was sentenced to 10 to 20-years in prison.
However, federal prosecutors say if he comes forward with information about the Drexel case or passes another lie-detector test his sentence could be reduced.
Taylor's lawyer told The Post and Courier of Charleston his client is being "squeezed." He says the FBI wants information Taylor doesn't have about Drexel's disappearance from Mrytle Beach in 2009.
Drexel was 17 years old when she was last seen leaving the Bluewater Hotel during a Spring Break trip.
Last year, the FBI reported the Chili teen had been taken, held against her will, raped and later killed. Her body was never found.
Authorities have conducted numerous searches for her remains, even as recently as March.
