NORTH CAROLINA - The highly anticipated grocery store, Lidl announced two new stores coming to North Carolina next month.

The German grocery store is set to expand into two new North Carolina locations on July 13.

The stores will open on US Hwy 70 West in Havelock and on Main Street in Wake Forest.

The German grocer plans to bring lower prices, more efficient displays and smaller stores featuring in- house brands.

The first Lidl grocery store in North Carolina opened in Winston-Salem earlier in June.
