The Wings Over Wayne air show takes place Saturday and Sunday at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, and a cold front might bring a few showers to the region during the weekend.
On Saturday, the best chance for any showers or isolated thundershowers, would occur during the mid to late afternoon time frame. On Sunday,we may see a little more cloud cover with a chance for isolated showers as the cold front slips farther south. Even if there are clouds, the air show will go on.
The only weather that would cause any issues would be low clouds or thunderstorms and the threat of that looks to be low at this time.
Gates open to the public at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday with flight displays scheduled to begin around 10 a.m.
