WAKE COUNTY -- People in the Swift Creek community of Wake County remember Barry Doyle on Friday. Doyle, who owned Barry's Cafe, served warm meals to dozens of firefighters and emergency personnel for nearly 25 years.

Doyle passed away Friday and is being remembered as a community provider, leader and man of service for those helping others in need.

"Unparalled to anybody I've ever met before. Whether it be, middle of the night, 6 in the morning, lunchtime, evenings, he's ready to bring food, coffee, hot chocolate, whatever we need...whatever we ask for, sometimes he just shows up without us asking," said Todd Jones, Swift Creek Fire Department.

Barry's Cafe will celebrate its 25th anniversary in May.
