LANCASTER, Calif. — Homicide detectives are investigating three separate homicides — all of which happened in a 24-hour period in Lancaster.
On Friday, 50-year-old Joey Jojola of Quartz Hill was stabbed to death after sheriff's deputies say he got into an argument with another man. Jojola died after being taken to an area hospital.
It happened in the 1400 block of East Avenue I. When deputies arrived, the alleged suspect surrendered himself. The suspect is was booked on suspicion of murder.

Also on Friday night, there was a second homicide. Sheriff deputies in Lancaster are looking for a suspect who shot and killed Percy Pineda, 27. His body was found in the 800 block of Langhorn Street. A motive for the fatal shooting is not known.
On Saturday morning, 17-year-old Jacob Sullivan was found dead in the 45000 block of 18th St. W.
Investigators say someone checking on a vacant home discovered a dead body inside a shed on the property. Jacob was shot to death. Investigators are asking anyone with any information on the homicides to contact them.
