NYPD officer Richard Haste reportedly had an unusual number of complaints against him leading up to the deadly shooting that led to him quitting the department.
The political blog ThinkProgress says it received a copy of Haste's disciplinary history from an anonymous former employee for the Civilian Complaint Review Board. The document shows he had six unsubstantiated complaints against him in the 13 months before the shooting.
Haste shot and killed 18-year-old Ramarley Graham inside his Bronx home back in 2012. He says he thought the teenager had a gun, but no weapon was ever recovered.
Haste resigned Sunday after a departmental trial commissioner found him guilty on all the counts against him and Police Commissioner James O'Neill recommended he be fired.
Graham's mother blasted the de Blasio administration for their handling of the case and is demanding his complete CCRB record be released.
PBA President Pat Lynch blasted the CCRB for the leak, saying it furthers the organization's anti-police aims.
