ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A pile of rubble from the Inner Loop fill in project, had a new addition Wednesday morning.

Those who live and work in the area say a "KKK" sign appeared atop the pile. They says it wasn't there as of Tuesday evening.

It's believed a homeless man who has added to the pile over the past months is responsible for the new addition.

Business owners located across the street from the rubble had mixed responses to the sign. One says he doesn't believe it was meant to be racist and nothing to do with last week's presidential election. Another called it an eyesore, not just the sign, but the entire pile.

The "KKK" sign had been removed by 12 p.m. Wednesday.
