It has been almost one year since an 82-year-old hunter from Troy went missing in northeastern Warren County and forest rangers continue to remind people in the area to look out for any signs of clues of his whereabouts.
Department of Environmental Conservation officials say Thomas Messick was last seen close to Lily Pond Road near the hamlet of Brant Lake on November 15th of last year.
Despite a massive two-month-long search, there has been no sign of Messick or any of his belongings.
Anyone hunting in the area between Route 8 and Route 9 north in Schroon Lake is asked to be especially alert.
