POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Keeping the Hudson Valley clean was they goal for Hudson River Housing as they joined forces with the community to clean up Poughkeepsie's College Hill Park Tuesday.
Bank of America and United Way were also part of the effort.
The event is one of many that Hudson River Housing hosts throughout the year. They say volunteering opportunities are always available.
"Clean ups like this bring volunteers together, we have this nice spirit of community and celebration of some of the assets that our city has and it's nice to get everybody together to take pride in our parks and in keeping them clean,” said Community Development Manager at Hudson River Housing Lindsey Duvall.
