NATIONWIDE -- Chicago police have released dashcam videos showing the officer-involved shooting death of Paul O'Neal, a black teen.

On July 28, O'Neal, suspected of stealing a car, led police on a chase through Chicago's south side.

In the just-released videos, officers are heard cursing at O'Neal, whose arms appear limp as they put him in handcuffs.

The fatal shot was not captured.

An attorney for the family says the videos are beyond horrific and officers should be stripped of their police powers.

"These police officers decided to play judge, jury and executioner,” says Michael Oppenheimer who represents the O’Neal family. “It is amazing to me, it is horrific, its tragic that these police officers did what they did and took their street justice in their own hands, the things they are trying to prevent”.

The Chicago Police Department has warned of "civil unrest" and potential violence against officers following the video's release.
