An Amsterdam man's death has been ruled accidental after his body was recovered in the Great Sacandaga Lake.

The death of Sean Craig, 18 of Amsterdam, was caused by drowning. Search crews located his body in about 25 feet of water near the "I Go Inn" restaurant.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says Craig was at the restaurant Saturday, before he took the family's boat out on the water. Someone called police after they saw the boat circling in the water with nobody on board.

Investigators are still unsure how Craig ended up in the water, but he was not wearing a life jacket. The sheriff's office is investigating his death, pending toxicology reports.
