A man is dead after he was found shot in the head Tuesday night in a fatal shooting in Brooklyn, according to the city police department.

Police said the suspect seen in the surveillance video above got into a dispute with the victim, 44-year-old Shane McCargo, just before the shooting around 9:06 p.m.

Officers said they responded to a report of shots fired on Marcus Garvey Boulevard between Jefferson and Putman Avenues.

When they arrived at the scene, they found McCargo with a gunshot wound in his head, according to the police report.

Police said he was taken to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating.
