WINSTON-SALEM -- Dozens of dancers in the Triad are "taking the lead" to benefit the homeless.

It's the 6th annual "Take the Lead Winston-Salem,” a dance fundraiser featuring some of the area’s prominent personalities.

Our very own Cristen Drummond and Elaina O'Connell are two of the local stars participating.

They've been rehearsing those moves for weeks now.

Cristen and Elaina, and their dancing partners, are trying to raise at least $5,000.

You can vote for them as many times as you want.  Each vote is worth $10.

This fundraiser benefits the Bethesda Center for the Homeless in Winston-Salem.
