TRENTON, N.J. -- Napster founder Sean Parker is donating $250 million to fight cancer.

The grant will establish the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy with the goal to increase collaboration with researchers and speed up the development of immune therapies.

This therapy is considered a promising area of emerging cancer research that leverages the body's immune system to help fight cancer.

The project will include more than 40 laboratories and around 300 researchers and immunologists.
