N train riders in Brooklyn are in for about 14 months of transit headaches starting next week.

The Manhattan-bound platforms of nine stations will be closed on Monday so they can undergo major renovations.

The century-old stations run from 8th Avenue in Sunset Park to 86th Street in Bensonhurst.

The facelift includes improved platforms and overpasses, new stairways and handrails, and upgraded communication systems.

The 8th Avenue station is getting two wheelchair-accessible ramps, and four elevators will be installed at the New Utrecht Avenue stop.

After the Manhattan-bound side is completed, work will switch to the Coney Island-bound platforms.

The workaround for riders at the affected station is to take the train in the wrong direction at the platform that is open. Riders will go toward Coney Island then transfer at Bay Parkway or Stillwell to a Manhattan-bound train.
