GREENSBORO - Crews are working to clean up a wreck after a tractor trailer overturned on the exit ramp of Interstate 85 south to US Highway 421 North.

It happened just before 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Officers say it was carrying a petroleum product. None of the chemicals spilled but moving the truck will take time.

"It'll take several hours for them to complete the rigging and to be able to rotate the vehicle back on to its tires and then try to pull it out from the ditch and clear the road way,” Greensboro Police Officer A.D. Reed said. “That'll take several hours."

Greensboro Police say that area should be cleared by rush hour.

If you're traveling that way, police say you should find an alternate route.
