GREENSBORO -- Whether you're a ballet fan or not, it's hard not to love the "Muttcracker" rendenition of "The Nutcracker."
Greensboro Ballet brought back "Muttcracker" this season. It's the traditional Nutcracker performance with some show-stealing furry additions.
This year's canine cast included a very special guest, retired Grasshoppers bat dog Miss Babe Ruth.
The special performance proves a favorite with audiences every year.
"I think it's just the love people have for their pets, and the love people have for animals in general," said Artistic Director and CEO of Greensboro Valley Maryhelen Mayfield.
The ballet asked audience members to bring pet food donations for the Triad SPCA.
