CHARLOTTE -- For the first time in the team's 21-year history, the Carolina Panthers participated in a Thanksgiving Day game.
The undefeated Panthers left for Dallas on Wednesday afternoon.
Thanksgiving games have been a part of the NFL for 90 years and undefeated Carolina is now a part of the league's holiday tradition.
The game between the Panthers and Cowboys kicked off at 4:30 p.m.
