GREENSBORO -- Superstar Taylor Swift rocked the stage at the Greensboro Coliseum Wednesday night.

Die-hard fans traveled from all over the U.S. just to see the Grammy Award-winning singer perfrom her 1989 World Tour in the Gate City.   

Musical artist, Vance Joy opened the sold out show for the “Bad Blood” singer.

Some stood outside for almost nine hours waiting for the doors to open to get a good spot on the floor.

“It's my 22 time seeing her in concert and  it's also my 22 birthday so I wanted to make sure I was right next to the stage,” said fan Kayla Foglia.

1989 is Swift's fifth studio album, but her first pop album. Swift was previously labeled a country music star.

The next stop of her tour is the Georgia Dome in Atlanta this Saturday.
