NATIONWIDE -- Enjoy a good lobster? Well, next time you decide to indulge in the delicacy, you could pay a little more.

Lobster prices are soaring after an unusually cold winter.

The lobsters that usually swarm the New England harbor when the water temperature rises have not shown up. With global demand skyrocketing, this means lobster prices could be giving the record books a run for their money this year.

According to the executive director of the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative, the waters should warm up by late July to early August, which should cause the lobsters to migrate inland which will stabilize prices.
