ALABAMA — An Alabama baby is finally home after he spent a month in the hospital being born with no nose.
Eli does not have a nose, nasal passages or sinus cavities. There are only 38 other cases like his in the world. The child will need several surgeries and the family has already raised more than $20,000 online to pay for his expenses.
Since he is so small, doctors are not considering cosmetic surgery until he at least hits puberty.
