MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee chef, Adam Pawlak, will compete on "Beat Bobby Flay."

The Milwaukeean is back on TV. Pawlak had previously competed on season 19 of "Hell’s Kitchen," where he placed ninth. He also appeared on Food Network's "Superchef Grudge Match" in 2023, winning his episode. 

He is the owner of Bay View restaurant Egg and Flour, which makes pasta from scratch every day. 

"Born and raised with Italian heritage and cuisine a part of daily life, Chef Pawlak brings that passion and style of cooking to every dish at Egg & Flour," according to the restaurant's website.  

Egg and Flour Pasta Bar originally started in a Milwaukee food hall, Crossroads Collective. Egg and Flour left the collective in May 2023. 

In the show, two chefs compete against each other for a chance to beat Bobby Flay. The two contestants must create a dish with a secret ingredient of Flay's choice. Judges choose who is skilled enough to take down Flay. The winning chef will get to challenge Flay with his or her own surprise signature dish. If he is beat, the winner can tell the world, “I beat Bobby Flay.”

Pawlak will appear on season 36, episode 8, where he will compete against Page Pressley.

The episode will air on Thursday, April 11, at 8 p.m. on the Food Network.
