LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — “Drawn to Life,” the Disney-inspired Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs, has been updated to include a new act and new performers.

The updates include a new acrobatic act known as Icarian Games, in which performers use their legs and feet to toss other performers in the air. The act will pay tribute to Disney’s animated forests, according to a news release.

Other changes to the show include the addition of aerial hoop artists to the Dream of Colors act — which features a pair of trapeze artists on a suspended wheel — and a “flying” guitarist who will be joining the Rhythmic Gymnastics act.

The show will also feature new musical compositions.

The changes are part of an “ongoing evolution” of the show which tells the story of a young girl who finds a collection of incomplete sketches left by her animator father. As she embarks on a quest to finish the animation, she travels through scenes pulled from Disney animated films.   

“Drawn to Life,” which first opened in November 2021, added matinee performances to its schedule at the start of the year.

For a limited time, Florida residents will be able to save on tickets to the show. The offer, which runs through March 12, is available for up to 15% off select seating categories for performances through May 7.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Disney Springs box office. Florida residents can purchase up to eight tickets. Proof of residency is required when picking up tickets at the box office.
